Signpost Putting the “Fun” in Fundraising for MHAMC

The brains behind the operation

The brains behind the operation, Chris DePatria.

One of the Mental Health Association of Morris County’s newest volunteers is spearheading a clever and fun fundraiser. Christopher DePatria and his fellow Signpost employees are putting away their razors for the month of January and letting their facial hair grow to raise awareness of mental health issues. The “Manuary” campaign has already raised more than $7,500 to date!

“Manuary” is a take on the tradition of “Movember”, where men grow mustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues.

The Signpost team.

Signpost chose the fundraising website Crowdrise, www.crowdrise.com, to promote the event and accept donations. The marketing automation company is well on its way to reaching its target of $10,000, 100% of which will be donated to MHAMC.

Please visit Signpost’s “Manuary” website, www.crowdrise.com/SignpostManuary2014, to follow their progress or support their efforts with a donation. And if you have an idea for a fundraiser that can be executed on Crowdrise, we’d love to hear it.
