12th Annual Food for Thought

Celebrating the Angels Among Us!

The Mental Health Association of Morris County (MHAMC) will hold its 12th Annual Food for Thought Celebration on Monday June 9th at Birchwood Manor, in Whippany.  The night begins with a VIP Business Networking Reception from 5:00-6:00 pm, sponsored by Novartis, followed by our Premier Tasting event from 6:00-9:00 pm.  Senator Anthony Bucco will be honored for his work supporting people living with disabilities and will be joining us for the entire evening!

MHA of Morris County Food for ThoughtGuests will sample delicious food from each of our participating restaurant vendors, including Tim Schafer’s Cuisine/Chef Fredy’s Table, Hibiscus, Caffe NoVana, Poor Henry’s, Apple Spice Junction, Cullins Fresh Food Factory and more!  A variety of beverages will be provided by Best Cellars of A&P and Cricket Hill Brewing Company.

In addition to being a culinary experience not to be missed, all funds raised at Food for Thought will go to support the work of this important charity.  Food for Thought activities will include a silent auction and basket raffle featuring restaurant gift certificates, spa packages, and shopping spree opportunities.

What: A Psychiatric Advanced Directive is a document that allows you to make decisions about your mental health treatment in advance.  At this event you will learn about and then fill in your own Psychiatric Advanced Directive.
